Guests FAQs
1) What is the minimum amount of nights
required for my stay?
Our minimum requirements is 4 nights. However,
individual homeowners may choose a higher
minimum for their property.
2) How are payments handled?
Fifty percent is due up front to reserve a home and
the remaining balance will be paid to the
homeowner upon arrival. Once we have reached a
deal we will send you an invoice. The house will
be held for 10 days while the check mails. If we
have not received a check within 10 days we will
treat the property as vacant. We deposit the check
immediately and send the homeowner their portion
so we can not offer refunds.
be provided?
We require that the homeowner arrange cleaning
service (at your convenience) at least twice during
a seven to ten night stay (only once for less). This
will include; cleaning bathrooms, removal of trash,
changing of linens, towels, and vacuuming. If you
would like to request additional services please let
us know ahead of time so we include this in
negotiations. You may also opt out of cleaning
services if you wish.
4) What if something is damaged during my
stay?
You will be responsible for any damage you cause
during your stay and may be asked by the
homeowner to sign something of that affect. Any
issues will be between you and the homeowner.

Smoking preferences will be clearly stated on each
listing. Most do not allow inside but will allow
outside.
Homeowner FAQs
1) How much can I expect to rent my house for?
We set the asking price based on size, location,
decor, bed to bath ratio, and special amenities.
Check houses on our website that are comparable
to yours to get an idea of pricing.
2) How do I know if my house is eligible to be
rented?
We will meet with you to determine eligibility on a
case by case basis. The most important thing is
that your home meet our standards for cleanliness
and decor. However having certain luxuries such
as high speed Internet and a wireless router, cable
t.v., etc. will help your home rent faster and for
more money. You must also be open minded and
respectful of your guests privacy. Your house is
their house and they must feel free to live without
interruption during their stay.
3) How will I get paid?
When your home is reserved you will receive a
check for half the amount (minus our fee) and the
rest you will get directly from the renter upon
arrival.
4) How long can I expect to be out of my
house?
Most renters need to stay for 7 to 10 nights. And
we require that you be available for at least that
long. If they need longer they will request for extra
days ahead of time and you will have the option to
accept or deny that request. We urge you to
accommodate them if they suddenly need to stay an
extra night for some reason. This happens from
time to time and you should be prepared for the
possibility. They will pay an additional amount
agreed upon in advance.
5) What if something is damaged while I'm
away?
The renter is responsible for all damage done to
your property as a direct result of their actions or
negligence. However you may wish to have them
sign a contract as High Point Hospitality does not
arbitrate disputes of this nature.
6) How often should I clean during their stay?
We require that you clean at least twice during a
seven to ten night stay and only once for less
nights (this includes cleaning of bathrooms,
removal of trash, changing of linens, towels, and
vacuuming). They may request more or less
frequent visits. If they should request more we will
discuss it with you ahead of time. Remember for
the duration of their stay your home is a hotel and it
is our jobs (yours and ours) to make our guests
comfortable. You should arrange a convenient
time for them while they are away during the day.
We also offer an optional cleaning service for a fee
based on the size of your home.
